The department covers the marketing, finance, business management, food laws and regulations, project establishment and entrepreneurship development. This course allows students to update with the recent technological advances in field of food entrepreneurship also to develop an understanding of the entrepreneurial process and the basic functional areas of business. Areas of concentration in the course includes, the role and characteristics of entrepreneurs, developing a business plan, evaluating a business opportunity, financing the small business, marketing for small business, financial management for small business, operations and human resource management.
