National Service Scheme Units Existence and Functioning:


National Service Scheme 2014-2015
College of Agriculture Naigaon (Bz.) NSS cell was organized various programs in the year of 2014-2015.

  • Regular Program:
  • Tree Dindi (March), Tree planting, Congress grass cleaning, tribe special youth sanitation camp etc. was implemented.
  • Programs include various offices such as Police station, Tehsils, Courts, Health Centres etc.
  • Veterinary hospital, Primary& Secondary Schools affirm the tree importance
  • On 15th august 2015 a tree dindi, tree planting program was organized at Naigaon (Bz.)
  • Weeding was done on the area as well as informing the farmers about waste water fertilizer and vermicompost.
  • Special Camp:

A special camp was  organized at Amritnagar, Naigaon (Bz.) Dist. Nanded and various events were  implemented.

  • Tree conservation tribute.
  • Information on agricultural technology.
  • Waste water management camp.
  • Rural hygine and emancipation.
  • Information about various government schemes to youngsters.
  • Ballet on cleanliness.

National Service Scheme 2015-2016
College of Agriculture Naigaon (Bz.) NSS cell was organized various programs in the year of 2015-2016.

  • Regular Program:
  • Congress grass eradication and promotion of Mexican beetles. Rearing and breeding of Mexican beetles was raised.
  • Weed control and public awareness was made and informing the farmers about eatthworms manure.
  • Tree planting program was organized to maintain tree conservation and environmental balance. During this program 200 trees were planted.
  • Students have been informed about awareness and prevention measures of HIV AIDS.
  • Instructions on health promotion and healthy living are guided by the health officer. The health check-up camp was also organized.
  • Blood clot detection and blood donation camp was organized, in which 68 person’s were donated their blood.
  • Special Camp:

A special camp of 8 days was  organized at Amritnagar Tq.Naigaon (Bz.) Dist. Nanded in between 3rd March 2016 to 10th March 2016. Various programs were  implemented in this camp.

  • Waste water recycling and management.
  • Rural hygiene and sanitation free village.
  • Farm implements and new information technology
  • Tree conservation and tree planting.
  • Guidance to the women for self help groups (Saving groups)
  • Information on agricultural allied business.
  • Business sitting at home.

College of Agriculture Naigaon (Bz.) NSS cell was organized various programs in the year of 2016-2017.

  • Regular Program:
  • Tree plantation and tree rearing program.
  • Agricultural based business counselling program.
  • Health guidance program.
  • Leadership development and personalitydevelopment program.
  • Employment and business guidance.
  • Special Camp 2016-2017:

A special camp was  organized at Kokalegaon Tq.Naigaon (Bz.) Dist. Nanded in between 2nd March 2017 to 7th March 2017. Various activities were  organized in this camp.

  • Guidance of Business on Milk and Milk based processing unit for women self help group’s (saving groups).
  • Guidance on mushroom production technology for rural areas unemployed youth.
  • Rural sanitation campaign.

  • Regular Program:
  • Implementation of various programs like Tree dindi, tree plantation, congress grass eradication, public awareness, rural sanitation, etc.
  • Programs include various offices such as Police station, Tehsils, Courts, Health Centres etc.
  • Planting of trees in Veterinary hospital, Primary & Secondary Schools and affirm the tree importance.
  • Leadership development and personality development guidance.
  • Employment and business guidance.
  • Special Camp 2017-2018:

A special camp was  organized at Naigaon wadi Tq.Naigaon (Bz.) Dist. Nanded in between 1st March 2018 to 7th March 2018. Various activities were  organized in this camp.

  • Free Blood clot detection camp and health awareness documentory.
  • Knowledge of integrated pest management and agricultural supplement business.
  • Information about food processing industry and product for women self help group.

College of Agriculture Naigaon (Bz.) NSS cell was organized various programs in the year of 2018-2019.

  • Regular Program:
  • Veterinary hospital, primary and secondary schools have established tree plantation and emphasized the importance of the tree.
  • Health authorities guidance and health checkups on health promotion and healthy living.
  • Weeding was done on the field and informed the farmers about vermicompost.
  • Leadership development and personality development guidance.
  • Employment and business guidance.
  • Special Camp 2018-2019:

A special camp was  organized at Naigaon wadi Tq.Naigaon (Bz.) Dist. Nanded in between 5th March 2019 to 11th March 2019. Various activities were  organized in this camp.

  • Rural hygiene and sanitation free village.
  • Waste water recycling and management.
  • Agricultural implements and new information technology.
  • Tree conservation and tree planting.
  • Guidance for women self help groups.
  • Information on agricultural and allied business.
